Elsewhere: Kirby - Right Back at Ya!

In the age of the Internet, ask and ye shall find out!  Last week I featured the 1983 Saturday Supercade series, and mentioned that I wish there were still cheesy Saturday morning cartoon series based on cute videogame characters, and specifically mentioned Kirby as a wish-list candidate.

I was completely in the dark that such a series DID exist, and my friend and fellow blogger known as  Hagen Dragmire kindly informed me of its existence.  Kirby - Right Back at Ya! was created in Japan and ran in the US from 2001-2003 on the syndicated 4Kids TV network.  Here's the nicely-animated, catchy opening:
