I've wanted a Japanese PC Engine console for more than twenty years, and the U.S. version, the TurboGrafx-16, never quite did it for me. So I finally took a gamble and imported the genuine article. Will it arrive in decent condition? Will it work here in the US? Midlife crisis resolved?

Great little podcast! I do a few OCD Collector videos whenever I get motivated. Last Christmas I treated myself to a HuCard Region Modded PC Engine Duo-R which works beautifully. Great thing is that it plays burned games so you can try before you buy when it comes to some of the more expensive CDROM games.
ReplyDeleteThanks! Always good to hear from a fellow PC Engine fan. This was sort of my birthday/early Christmas present to myself. :)
ReplyDeleteNow you need to get yourself a SuperGrafx!
ReplyDeleteThe SuperGrafx isn't impossible to get hold of -- the biggest challenge is finding the games, it seems. But maybe someday after I get my Neo-Geo, that's next on the wish list.
ReplyDeleteThere are really only 2 games out of the 6 that I even want for the SuperGrafx and I have them on my Arcade. If I ever find one I'll pick it up but I'm not actively looking.
ReplyDeleteI'm playing Fray CD right now
