Monday has rolled around again...
WiiWare -- One title today, Adventure on LOST ISLAND - Hidden Object Game, which is, as one might surmise, a hidden object "adventure" that's at least more colorful than the rather dour, realistic graphics featured in most PC games of this type.
Wii Virtual Console -- Quiet on the VC front this week.
DSiWare -- Three titles today, and it's interesting to note that Nintendo is now featuring DSiWare more prominently in its press releases than the WiiWare platform. Castle Conqueror is a casual real-time strategy game with a castle-storming theme. myNotebook: Tan continues the personal utility/scratchpad series. And Crazy Pinball is a pinball game with five tables laid out vertically using both DS screens.
XBox Live Arcade -- Two games arrived last week. Plants vs. Zombies comes to XBox 360 after its triumphant release on various other platforms -- it's a solid tower defense game with a great sense of visual humor, I played through the trial version and will probably pick this up when I need something new to play. And Dance! works with dance pads and controllers, but not apparently with the upcoming Kinect; the fact it includes 300 virtual accessories for the player's dancer implies it's an attempt to wrest some of the Wii casual dance game market away from Nintendo.
Game Room -- Game Pack 009 unlocked five new titles last week. Traditional games lead, with Activision's Bridge and Atari's Video Chess for the Atari 2600 and Reversi on the Intellivision. We also get a couple of rare late Intellivision titles - the unreleased Hard Hat and action-RPG Thunder Castle.
PS3 on PSN -- One title last week, TerRover, a 2-D physics-based All Terrain Vehicle puzzle/land-platforming game with an interesting indie line-drawing visual style.
