Telltale Games has teamed up with several other contemporary and vintage adventure game companies to offer a great deal for gamers and deserving charities.
The Great Adventure Bundle 2010 is a downloadable package for PCs that costs $19.95, 25% of which goes to the charity you select -- the Electronic Frontier Foundation, Child's Play, the World Wildlife Fund, Nyota E.V., or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Foundation. If you don't pick a charity, your tax-deductible donation will be divided among the five. The sale ends September 10th.
And it's a great deal on its own -- the bundle includes Sierra's King's Quest Collection (King's Quest I-VII), Daedalic's 2-D point-and-click adventure The Whispered World, Deck 13's Jack Keane, and Hothead's Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain Slick Precipice of Darkness, Episode 1, featuring the RPG/adventure antics of Gabe and Tycho. The bundle also includes two Telltale titles - the new Puzzle Agent and second-season bundle Sam & Max: Beyond Time and Space, which will unlock online when enough people have purchased the bundle. As I write this, 190 bundles have been sold -- Puzzle Agent unlocks at 5000 copies, so spread the word!
Buy it here.
Make that 191.
