Acclaim's Ironsword: Wizards & Warriors II for the 8-bit NES famously featured Fabio on the box, notably bereft of the full suit of armor that the game's lead character, the knight Kuros, actually wears.
The TV commercial didn't include Fabio or his romance novel good looks, but still manages to confuse Kuros with Conan, overstating the game's entertainment impact in hyperbolic 90's fashion. It feels like one of those 1980's print ads brought to life, complete with low-budget special effects and a "typical video gamer" (i.e. bedroom-confined nerd) character:
I like how Kuros interrupts his battles with unearthly monsters just long enough to hand out copies of his latest videogame. And where exactly does he keep them?
