Maybe it was time to retire the concept for a while for other reasons, though I haven't heard anything definitive one way or the other. I certainly wouldn't be surprised if the voiceover work alone wore Matt Chapman out a bit -- there's a ton of dialogue in these games, which is what makes them work so well IMO.StillGaminghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18366215127642090500noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7274560874062585311.post-26383380453609482442013-04-15T11:21:59.369-07:002013-04-15T11:21:59.369-07:00This was a very funny series of games, although th...This was a very funny series of games, although the puzzles often felt arbitrary and dull, and tend to distract from the comedy, which was the only reason I signed up. One has to be a fan of these sort of graphics adventures, I suspect, but if you're only here for the Homestar jokes, that's fine.

The real tragedy is that the Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People series completely burned out the Brothers Chapman. Soon after completion, they all but retired the Homestar Runner series, and they've all but disappeared since. Thank goodness they've kept the Homestar website up and running, but their groundbreaking internet cartoon is sorely missed.Daniel Thomas MacInneshttp://www.ghiblicon.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7274560874062585311.post-52325959030438384782013-04-02T16:12:01.457-07:002013-04-02T16:12:01.457-07:00Actually, while I was aware of Peasant's Quest...Actually, while I was aware of Peasant's Quest (it appears in this series' episode 5, "8-Bit Is Enough") my mind went straight to Police Quest.
